NEW MEMBERS (Short Version):
- Complete the Entry Form
- Depending on the Level of Participation that you choose (see below), follow the instructions.
- See below for the entire chain of events, from “joining” to “approval.”
- For Web Site (non-blog) participants - Please only choose the categories that your site is primarily focused on.
NEW MEMBERS: CHAIN OF EVENTS FROM “JOINING” TO “APPOVAL.”
- PARTICIPANT - Complete the entry form
- SLOGBITE - Will send to you a confirmation email with a link that you will follow to your home page.
- PARTICIPANT - Within your SB Home Page - Upload your graphic.
- PARTICIPANT - Let SB know if you are an Entrecard member or not
- PARTICIPANT - “B” List - Add a SlogBite badge to your sidebar.
- PARTICIPANT - “A” list - Add a Widget to your sidebar. The SB Badge is optional for the “A” list.
- SLOGBITE - Will then approve your entry at which time you will get an approval email.
- SLOGBITE - If there are any problems with your entry you will be notified.
- PARTICIPANT - If you have any problems, please notify SlogBite.
- SLOGBITE - Upon successful completion of the membership process, all new members will be announced on Twitter.
EXISTING MEMBERS JOINING NEW CATEGORIES
- Complete the Entry Form within the categories you want to add.
- No need to login
NEW MEMBERS (Long Version):
- SlogBite is a new concept in site directories. It is granular in nature. I purposely built SlogBite so that I could quickly create categories as the need arises, and so that SB accurately represent it’s member’s sites, not so that member sites would have to figure out a way to squeeze their sites into predetermined categories, that never quite fit. I continuously encourage participant feedback as to what categories you would like to see added. I just ask that you join them once they are added.
- You decide what categories you want to be listed in by clicking on the appropriate Categories
- You decide your level of participation (see below), by following the simple requirements.
- Just complete the entry form.
- If you need a category to be created, it will be done upon request.
- SlogBite is not limited to just blogs. It is open to anyone who has a web-presence.
- SlogBite has a varied selection of badges to choose from. Flying one of the badges is a requirement for the “B” list.
- Upon request, I will create a custom badge for your site that will point directly to the SlogBite category directory of your choice.
- SlogBite has a variety of colors for the Widget. Adding the widget is a requirement for the “A” list.
Levels of Participation: There are two levels of participation in each category.
- “A” List - Qualifications:
- Must add the SB Widget to your site (available through your SB Home Page once you join.)
- The SB Widget will only include “A” listers that share the same categories as you.
- The “SlogBite” button, badge, banner or flag” is optional for the “A” list.
- “B” List - Qualifications:
- Must add the “SlogBite” button, badge, banner or flag” to your site.
